Lee Jasper
Mr Lee Jasper BA (hons) is unique in his field. His has a wealth of experience that includes over 30 years as a leading campaigner for social justice and race equality and 8 years as a Senior Policy Director for Equalities and Policing in London.
During this time he has established a range of Britain’s leading black community and anti racist organisations. He enjoys a national and international profile. He is widely regarded as able and exciting public speaker combining both dynamic presentations infused with a depth of political experience.
He was the Mayor of London’s Director for Policing and Equalities. Playing a part in the roll out of Safer Neighbourhood crime reduction programme and leading edge equalities policies, both regarded as having established national standards in these important pareas.
He was responsible on behalf of the Mayor for the Metropolitan Police Service budget of £3.2 billion pounds and was the founder member and Chair of the world-renowned black community police partnership Operation Trident Independent Advisory Group focused on tackling gun crime. Lee Jasper pioneered and chaired the worlds first Olympic Diversity Committee
