The 1990 Trust launches digital archive of UK Black Newspapers

The 1990 Trust has launched a  vitally important digital archive on line today.  Arif Ali is a publishing legend in the UK . He was responsible for the publication of Caribbean , African and Asian Times throughout the 1980's and 1990's . He also founded Hansib book that has gone on to document the African and Asian Diaspora's world wide.  After discussion with me Arif kindly  agreed to donate hard copies of his newspapers to the 1990 Trust and I am personally delighted that the Trust has now launched this important archive. Its a simply fascinating insight into the struggle of black communities here in the UK.  Many many thanks to Arif without whom this project could not have been possible.
